ABC Teachers is seeking an experienced and dedicated A-Level Biology Supply Teacher for a long-term position at a reputable secondary school in Edgbaston. This exciting opportunity begins in September 2025 and is expected to continue until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the science department to contribute to curriculum development

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
- Specialism in Biology with experience teaching at A-Level
- Strong knowledge of the AQA or OCR A-Level Biology syllabus
- Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
- A passion for inspiring young scientists and promoting academic excellence
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
- a suitable qualification to teach Biology i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS and a Degree in Biology
