About the role
ABC Teachers is working with teachers who have not yet gained QTS in the UK. If you are an experienced teacher or cover supervisor who is passionate about working with students who have physical and learning disabilities, then we want to work with you. The schools we work with place the students at the heart, the curriculum is uniquely designed to accommodate students' different needs and Teaching Assistants work with the class teacher to aid the development of individual students.
About the school
We work with schools who cater for students with additional needs, students could have a broad spectrum of SEN and we work hard to place you within schools that match your experience and skills sets. The schools cover both the South and North of Birmingham, therefore you will be expected to travel within 10 miles for work. Requirements
- Teaching experience within the UK or abroad within the last five years that we can gain references from.
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND or adults with SEND Needs.
- A passion for the progress of students with SEND in an education setting.
- A strong understanding of planning and preparation work and how to work within the national curriculum.
- An Ability to work individually and take a proactive approach to student care and learning.
- Teaching experience within the UK or abroad within the last five years that we can gain references from.
