Teaching Assistant needed for a Primary school in Lichfield to support a KS1 class. The role starts from September 2023 on a long term basis until July 2023.
About the role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting teachers and ensuring a positive and conducive learning experience for our students. This position is a valuable opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of young learners.
- Work closely with teachers to support the delivery of lessons, providing one-on-one assistance to students who may require extra help.
- Assist in creating a stimulating and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN) to overcome challenges and access the curriculum effectively.
- Prepare classroom materials and resources as directed by the teaching staff.
- Assist in the management of classroom behavior, promoting a respectful and inclusive atmosphere.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant - Lichfield you will:
- All staff must hold an enhanced DBS disclosure which must also be registered to the Update Service (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you)
- need to provide professional or academic references and attend a face to face interview
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Experience working with children in a school setting
