ABC Teachers is actively seeking dedicated individuals in the Shrewsbury area to join our National Teaching Assistant Programme, which aims to build relevant skills for applicants looking for work in primary schools paid work to gain them initial experience.
About the role
This role will include:
- Engaging in four online training modules designed to prepare you for a primary school classroom environment.
- Benefit from dedicated support provided by a personal consultant who will align opportunities with schools with pre-existing relationships with ABC Teachers.
- Initially flexibility in days while gaining experience in different settings, however will have an expectation to become full time once the right role comes in.
- Undergo a paid trial week with a primary school including feedback at the end of the week to help build specific skills.

This will be set in primary schools and nursery settings in the Shrewsbury area, so ideally looking for someone open to doing both.
Requirements
- Demonstrate a motivation and desire to work in the education setting.
- Express a positive attitude towards participating in program activities and collaborating with others.
- Be able to work on a full-time basis for positions.
- Provide references from your most recent employment.
- Possess or be willing to obtain an up-to-date DBS check registered with the update service.
- Salary based on daily rate.
