We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team.
About the role
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will provide essential support to teachers and students across various subjects and year groups. Your responsibilities will include assisting with classroom activities, preparing learning resources, and providing one-to-one or small group support to students as directed by teaching staff. Additionally, you will help maintain a safe and positive learning environment, support students' social and emotional development, and contribute to the overall well-being of the school community. The successful candidate will possess a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent), excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for working with children. Experience working in a school setting and a basic understanding of the national curriculum are desirable. Requirements
- Have a Level Two Teaching Assistant qualification, or relevant experience.
- Have experience working with Children or young adults who have additional needs.
- A DBS Check, or readiness to undergo a DBS check.
- You must be comfortable with personal care.
- Behavior Management skills.
- You should possess patience and have a child centered approach to your work.
