Are you a dedicated and passionate Geography Teacher looking to work within our vibrant secondary schools?
About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Geography lessons to students aged 11-16, inspiring them to explore the world around them. This is deal for an enthusiastic teacher looking to make a significant impact on students' educational journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Assess and monitor students' progress when required, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Create a positive learning environment that fosters student participation and curiosity.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Geography curriculum and contribute to whole-school initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in teaching Geography.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Geography Teacher you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Degree in Geography or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Geography at the secondary level (KS3 and KS4).
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- a suitable qualification to teach Geography i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
