About the role
As a Classroom Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Supervising classes and delivering pre-prepared plans and materials during the short-term absence of teachers.
- Ensuring students remain on task with the work set by the absent teacher.
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Supporting students in their learning and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Reporting any issues or incidents to school staff.
- Provide guidance and support to students to help them complete their assigned tasks.
- Collaborate with other school staff to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Classroom Supervisor you will:
- Experience working with secondary school students is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to different school environments and teaching styles.
- A passion for education and supporting student development.
- A valid DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- a similar position or 5 days in sole charge of a group of children in the last 10 years.
