About the role
ABC Teachers are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Academic Learning Coach to join our team at a reputable Sixth Form Establishment in Moseley. As an Academic Coach, you will play a crucial role in supporting students in their academic journey, providing guidance, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with students to identify their academic strengths and areas for improvement.
- Provide one-on-one and group academic support sessions.
- Develop and implement personalised learning plans for students.
- Monitor student progress and adjust support strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with teachers to align coaching efforts with classroom objectives.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Academic Learning Coach you will:
- Previous experience in an academic coaching or mentoring role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt coaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Knowledge of curriculum and assessment methods would be desirable.
- Passion for education and student success.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- similar experience or 5 days in sole charge of a group of children in the last 10 years.
