ABC Teachers are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:2 with two SEN pupils based in an upper Key Stage 2 class based in a primary school in the Telford area, to start from November and continue indefinitely.
Salary based on qualifications and experience.
About the role
This role will include:
- Supporting two pupil with Special educational needs with their educational and social journeys through primary schools.
- Starting on a short term basis but will be keen to commit to a long term candidate as soon as they see them working well with the pupils they are supporting.
- Full time with hours from 08:30-15:30.
About the school
This will be located at a one form entry primary school in the Sedgley area of Telford.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of 1:2 Teaching Assistant- Telford you will:
- Have had prior experience working effectively with a student with additional needs.
- Have a keen passion for building a strong working relationship with pupils and to provide them the best chance of developing.
- Be able to commit to full-time work.
- Ideally have a teaching assistant qualification, however with the right experience this is not compulsory.
- Provide references from your most recent and relevant employment.
- Possess or be willing to obtain an up-to-date DBS check registered with the update service.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Salary based on daily rate.
