ABC Teachers are recruiting for a Year 5 Teacher with plenty of experience working with the KS2 curriculum to cover a long-term cover in Wolverhampton to commence from November.
Salary based on qualifications and experience.
About the role
This role includes the following:
- Teaching in a full class teacher role, including some planning (maths and English is covered), delivering, and assessing lessons and pupil progress.
- Starting after the October half-term break and covering until the end of the Autumn term, with the possibility of extension.

This is based at a one form entry school in the centre of Wolverhampton, recent good rating from Ofsted and a welcoming team of permanent staff members.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Year 5 Teacher- Wolverhampton you will:
- Have prior experience in a full class teacher role, showing confidence in teaching Year 5 or a similar year group within the KS2 curriculum.
- Be prepared to commit to a full-time role, with responsibilities including planning, assessments, and engaging with parents.
- Hold a relevant QTS for teaching in a primary school setting (this is essential for applicants).
- Have, or be able to obtain, an Enhanced DBS registered to the update service.
- Provide relevant references from the last 2 years.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Salary based on daily rate.
