I am urgently recruiting for a KS2 Primary Teacher to cover a year 4 class from September 2024 for a primary school based in Coventry. This position is full time and has the potential of leading to a permanent position for the right person.
About the role
This role includes the following:
- Working in a full class teacher role planning, presenting and assessing lessons and pupil progress.
- Working on a full-time basis in a class based in a Key Stage 2 setting.
- You will be expected to take on all teaching duties including planning, preparing and marking
- This will be long term cover starting from September 2024 and initially run for the Autumn term.

To be considered for the role of Year 4 Teacher in Coventry primary school:
- Be able to work confidently with children of a Key Stage 2 age range.
- Have prior experience in a full class teacher role, showing experience of leading a class in an important summer term.
- Be willing to commit to a full time role with full responsibilities regarding planning.
- Experience in teaching phonics and read write inc.
- Need a relevant QTS for working in a primary school environment, this is a compulsory part of registration.
- Have or be able to obtain a DBS registered to the update service.
- Be able to gain relevant references from the last 2 years.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Salary based on daily rate.
