ABC Teachers are recruiting for a Primary Teacher with prior experience in Key Stage 1 to teach in a year 1 class on a full-time basis at a school in the Telford Area, to span the entirety of the Summer Term.
About the role
This role includes the following:
- Working in a full-time class teacher role planning, presenting and assessing lessons and pupil progress.
- PPA time will be allocated within these hours as well as support with planning, meaning extra-curricular work is left to a minimum.
- This Long-Term Cover will be to commence from as soon as possible and finish on the 19th of July.
About the school
This school will be based in a two-form entry school located in the central Telford area. The school have been rated as Good in the most recent ofsted inspection and has been described by many who have been on a supply basis as warm and hospitable for supply teachers who go there.
Requirements
- Be able to work confidently with children of a Key Stage 1 age range.
- Have prior experience leading a class as well as with planning and assessing a class during a busy summer term.
- Experience in teaching phonics and read write inc.
- Need a relevant QTS for working in a primary school environment, this is a compulsory part of registration.
- Have or be able to obtain a DBS registered to the update service.
- Be able to gain relevant references from the last 2 years.
- Salary based on daily rate.
