ABC Teachers are offering the opportunity to train on the job as a Teaching Assistant. We will provide the successful Trainee Teaching Assistant with high quality training and paid on the job experience to further develop your skills.

About the role

We are looking for individuals who have excellent communication skills and are able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff, quickly and effectively. You will be working with the class teacher to manage behaviour, support pupils and assist with recording and reporting on pupil progress.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Trainee Teaching Assistant you will:
  • Be able to secure references to cover the last two years
  • Have a DBS that is registered on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
  • Be a welcoming influence on the classroom and individual’s learning
  • Be able to form meaningful working relationships with both staff and students
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Recent experience working with children or vulnerable adults on a professional or personal level
