ABC Teachers are recruiting for an SEN teaching assistant to support an SEN child on a 1 to 1 basis in a primary school based in the Shrewsbury area. This role is to commence from September 2024.

Salary based on qualifications and experience.

About the role

This role includes the following:

  • Working on a full-time basis between 08:30-15:30.
  • Working on a 1 to 1 basis with an SEN child based in the Key Stage 1 age range.
  • This will be long term cover starting from September 2024 and continue up until the Christmas break, this may have a potential to be extended.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant- Shrewsbury- September you will:
  • Have had prior experience working with a child with special educational needs.
  • Have a drive to provide the best possible service to the children in their care.
  • Be adaptable to different environments and situations.
  • Teaching assistant qualifications are not compulsory with the right experience.
  • Have or be able to obtain a DBS registered to the update service.
  • Be able to gain relevant references from most recent and relevant roles.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Salary based on a daily rate.
