We are offering an exciting opportunity to train as a Cover Supervisor within our network of supportive and welcoming secondary schools across Wolverhampton. No formal teaching experience is required - full training provided.
About the role
As a Trainee Cover Supervisor, you’ll play an important role in maintaining learning and supporting students when teachers are absent. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising classes and ensuring students remain engaged and on task
- Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Supporting students’ learning and wellbeing
- Building confidence and classroom management skills through hands-on experience
