ABC Teachers is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in an SEN School in Smethwick on a part time basis.
About the role
- As a Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the educational, social and emotional development for students.
- Working alongside a class teacher and a team of experienced support staff.
- Work with primary aged students, with a variety of special educational needs particularly Autism and Speech and Language.
- Part time role to begin in September with the possibility to be ongoing for the right Teaching Assistant

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:
- Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students
- Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
- Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Two years supporting students with Special Educational Needs.
