ABC Teachers are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work on a part-time/day to day basis conducting 1:1 support as well as general class support to cover sickness and absence in our Dudley schools.
About the role
- Working on a 1:1 basis
- Supporting students with a range of SEN needs as well as general class support
- Use a child-centred approach to provide the best support for student’s learning and development.
- This Teaching Assistant role on a day to day basis flexible around your availability

The schools will be based in and around the Dudley area and range in size.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:
- Have previous experience working with primary-aged children and students with a range of special educational needs.
- Suitable qualifications to work with young people and support students with SEND, this is highly desirable.
- Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students.
- Be able to work as part of a team and be confident dealing with occasional behavioural challenges
- Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Experience working with children we can obtain a reference from
