ABC Teachers are seeking a dedicated individual to join us as a Long Term Sports Coach for PE Cover at an established secondary school in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide cover for PE lessons in the absence of regular teachers, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Plan and deliver engaging sports activities and lessons that cater to the abilities and interests of secondary school students.
• Support the physical education curriculum by assisting in the organization of sports events, extracurricular activities, and fixtures.
• Monitor and supervise students during physical education sessions, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Collaborate with PE department staff to contribute to the planning and development of the school's sports program.

• Previous experience working as a Sports Coach or in a similar role, preferably within a secondary school setting.
• Strong knowledge and passion for a variety of sports and physical activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic school environment.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in sports coaching or physical education.
• Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
