ABC Teachers are currently seeking a committed and nurturing Teaching Assistant to work within a local SEND school, providing personalised assistance to students in small group and 1:1 settings.
About the role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will engage with students across various age groups who have moderate learning difficulties and additional needs such as speech and language difficulties. Your role will involve fostering a supportive learning environment and providing individualised support to help each student thrive. This position is full-time and ongoing, starting in September.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEND Teaching Assistant you will:
- Have previous experience working within an SEND setting, catering to various needs.
- Demonstrate adaptability and reliability in supporting students' learning journeys.
- Possess a genuine passion for helping children succeed and thrive academically and emotionally.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Be able to provide suitable references, possess a valid DBS Check, and hold the Right to Work in the UK.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Experience in SEND settings
