ABC Teachers is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to work in an SEN School in Stourbridge. The school offers an innovative curriculum to students from the age of two to eleven for those whose needs cannot be met in mainstream schools.
About the role
- As SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for creating and following the caring and happy environment set out by the school.
- Work with students in 1-1 and small group basis.
- Working together with the class teacher and a team of experienced support staff to develop an inclusive education program for all children.
- Full-time role to begin ASAP with the possibility to be ongoing for the right SEN Teaching Assistant

Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEND Teaching Assistant you will:
- • Hold a suitable qualification for working with children and young people such as Health and Social Care, Children and Young People's Workforce.
- • Have a current driving licence- Free parking is provided at the school.
- • Have experience of working with children with special education needs and disabilities.
- • Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- two weeks experience working with children with SEN
