As a Primary School Supply Teacher you will be responsible for delivering high quality lessons to students across all Primary ages in accordance to the curriculum.
Luckily most of the time, the work should already be set for you by the class teacher!
About the role
In this role, your primary role will be to create a positive learning environment that encourages active participation and keeps the pupils on track to support the class teacher, the school and the pupils as much as possible.
Dependent on your preferences and schools requirements, you could be conducting day to day, long-term or short-term work across all primary ages.
So whether you're with the pupils/the school for a day, a week or even months on end, the goal will remain the same!
About the school
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a number of different schools in and around the Sandwell area, dependent on their requirements as well as your preferences.
Requirements
- • Have a relevant QTS.
- • Be able to secure recent, relevant, referenceable experience from the past two years.
- • Have or be able to acquire a DBS on the update service.
- • Be able to establish good relationships with both students and staff, and be able to understand different learning styles of students and adapt to this accordingly.
- • Demonstrate excellent communication skills with a polite and positive manner.
- A Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
