ABC Teachers are looking to recruit for Early Careers Teachers located in Telford to join our supply pool ahead of the Autumn Term 2024, to help with long term, short term and day-to-day supply work from the beginning of September.
About the role
This role includes the following:
- Able to work with a number of the schools in Telford and the surrounding area.
- A chance to build experience and confidence in different year groups at a primary age range.
- A number of examples of successful long term and permanent placements from this academic year.
- As well as being able to work on a TA basis for the end of the summer term (once finished all university studies) if registration process is started over Easter Break.
About the school
This will be working in a range of schools based across the Telford area, all will be long standing user schools of ABC Teachers with already formed relationships with senior leadership giving you great opportunities to show off abilities and potential.
Requirements
- Be willing to engage pupils and build rapport with staff and others in schools.
- Have prior experience in a placement during university course.
- No previous experience in supply needed.
- Need a relevant QTS (valid from September 2024), working in a primary school environment, this is a compulsory part of registration.
- Have or be able to obtain a DBS registered to the update service.
- Be able to gain relevant references from placement school and university.
- Salary based on level of responsibility in the role.
