ABC Teachers are currently recruiting for a qualified teaching assistant holding level 2 or level 3, to work at a school based in Handsworth from September 2024. This is a full time position until Christmas in the first instance, but for the right candidate would be for the full academic year, leading to a permanent role.
About the role
The role is looking for a qualified teaching assistant to work with a class of KS1 children from September 2024, assisting the classroom teacher with general duties and small groups. The applicant would need to hold valid and relevant qualification and relevant experience in Primary Schools, which could be referenced.

Located in Handsworth, this school is a three form entry school with a highly experienced KS1 team in place.
Requirements

- All staff must hold an enhanced DBS disclosure which must also be registered to the Update Service (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you).
- Need to provide professional or academic references.
- Attend a face to face interview (due to Covid-19 this will now be a video interview).
- A prohibition from teaching check will be completed for all applicants.
