ABC Teachers are urgently recruiting for a KS2 Primary Teacher to cover a year 3 class from September 2024 for a primary school based in Central Coventry. This position is full time and has the potential of leading to a permanent position for the right person.
About the role
This role includes the following:
- Working in a full class teacher role planning, presenting and assessing lessons and pupil progress.
- Working on a full-time basis in a class based in a Key Stage 2 setting.
- You will be expected to take on all teaching duties including planning, preparing and marking
- This will be long term cover starting from September 2024 and initially run for the Autumn term.

This is a large 4 Form entry school based in the heart of England. The school has a supportive leadership team and welcome newly qualified teachers as well as experienced staff.
Requirements
- Hold QTS
- Be able to work confidently with children of a Key Stage 2 age range.
- Have prior experience in a full class teacher role, showing experience of leading a clasS
- Be willing to commit to a full time role with full responsibilities regarding planning.
- Have excellent classroom management and be able to create an engaging safe environment for learners
- Have or be able to obtain a DBS registered to the update service.
- Be able to gain relevant references from the last 2 years.
