BC Teachers are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team in Derby and the wider Derbyshire area.
We are seeking experienced cover supervisors for long-term roles in a range of schools where you will be well reimbursed.
About the role
- Supervise and manage students in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and maintain classroom discipline.
- Provide support to students in their learning activities.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and support colleagues as needed.
- Report any issues or incidents to senior staff.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Experienced Cover Supervisor you will:
- Previous referenceable experience working with children in a school setting for 5 days or more.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptability and the ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Passion for education and the development of young minds.
- Hold an enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Previous referenceable experience working with children in a school setting for 5 days or more.
