ABC Teachers are keen to work with enthusiastic Newly Qualified Teachers across Burton and surrounding areas who are seeking to gain experience in Primary schools prior to taking on a permanent role to help boost your experience and knowledge.
About the role
Working for ABC Teachers will give you scope to work on a full time or part time basis, as well as having the option to work on a day to day basis, or in short term and long term positions depending on what suits your circumstances and joining our ECT Pool will give you exclusive access to a variety of ECT roles in your local area.

ABC Teachers work with a range of ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ primary schools in Burton and the surrounding areas who will be looking to recruit new staff for January 2026.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Early Career Teacher - Burton you will:
- Have experience teaching in a primary school setting
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or in the process of working towards obtaining QTS
- Able to provide to references to cover the last 2 years of both Education and Employment
- A passion for working with children
- Have or be willing to obtain a DBS Certificate and put it on the Update Service.
