About the role
A number of secondary schools in Leicester are looking for a Cover Supervisor to join their teams on an ad-hoc basis. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and enjoys working with secondary school-aged students. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that students remain engaged, manage their work, and follow the lesson plans provided. This is a flexible opportunity, perfect for individuals looking for part-time or occasional work in education.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Cover Supervisor you will:
- Experience working with secondary school students (ages 11-16), preferably in an educational or supervisory role, but not essential.
- Strong classroom management skills: Ability to maintain control in a classroom and ensure that students remain engaged and productive.
- Good communication skills: Ability to clearly communicate with both students and staff, ensuring expectations are understood.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Experience working with secondary school students (ages 11-16), preferably in an educational or supervisory role, but not essential.
