About the role
The School and Role
ABC Teachers are looking to recruit a resilient Academic Assistant with a caring personality to work in our Secondary Schools based in Dudley and the surrounding areas. The desired candidate will be a positive role model, with the ability to help support children meet their learning outcomes. You may be working with varied behaviours and a range of students aged between 11-18 year olds. The schools we work with are friendly and welcoming. They support new staff and will always welcome them back on a regular basis. This could end up long-term for the right candidate!
Requirements
The successful Academic Assistant will have;
- A minimum of 5 days experience working with children or the desire to work with young people is preferable although full training is available.
- A good level of education.
- The ability to engage and motivate students in a range of lessons.
- A passionate and outgoing personality
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK
