ABC Teachers is looking for skilled Cover Supervisor to join a specialist SEN School in Birmingham on a full-time basis.
About the role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task.
- Deliver pre-set lesson plans and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Support pupils in their learning and maintain a positive classroom environment.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Cover Supervisor you will:
- Have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs, such as learning difficulties, autism, and sensory needs.
- Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
- Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students.
- Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- At least two years of experience supporting students with special educational needs.
