Are you looking for a career in education? ABC Teachers are offering a Trainee Cover Supervisor role in Secondary schools on a full or part time basis. All training is provided internally by ABC Teachers.
About the role
The desired candidate would be working in the capacity of a Cover supervisor, providing vital support to both teachers and pupils. This can either be full or part-time dependent on your circumstances.
The suitable candidate would be provided with the appropriate training and support for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Maintain discipline and manage behaviour in accordance with school policies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Adapt quickly to different subjects and year groups as required.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Trainee Cover Supervisor you will:
- Have a warm and friendly nature to be able to build positive relationships with pupils.
- Be willing to work in Mainstream secondary school settings in the capacity of a Cover Supervisor
- Live in the UK, Have the right to work in the UK and have a good standard of spoken and Written English.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Live in the UK, Have the right to work in the UK and have a good standard of spoken and Written English.
