We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Subject Specialist Teacher to join our team, delivering high quality lessons to students with a range of special educational needs, including medical and mental health needs. This role requires a teacher who can plan and deliver accessible, engaging, and differentiated lessons that meet students at their point of learning, often in small group or one-to-one settings.

As part of a collaborative and supportive staff team, you will also contribute to wider curriculum planning, assessment and pastoral support, ensuring that every pupil has the opportunity to reach their potential.

We are a multi-site academy based in Birmingham, delivering education to young people with a diverse range of medical, emotional and mental health needs. Our pupils often face complex barriers to learning, and we provide a flexible, personalised approach to ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive.

• Have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs, such as learning difficulties, autism, and sensory needs.
• Suitable qualifications – must hold a QTS or PGCE.
• Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students.
• Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.

• Hold a QTS or QTLS.
