Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis conducting 1:1 support in Reception. We require an experienced Teaching Assistant who works well with children with ASD and additional needs to start in October. The school is based between Dudley and Wolverhampton.

- Working on a 1:1 basis
- Supporting a little boy with a diagnosis of ASD and associated communication and behavioural needs.
- Use a child-centered approach to provide the best support for student’s learning and development.
- This Teaching Assistant role is a full-time, long-term role.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant (Primary) you will:
- Have previous experience working with primary-aged children and students with a range of special educational needs is desirable
- Suitable qualifications to work with young people and support students with SEND, this is highly desirable.
- Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students.
- Be able to work as part of a team and be confident dealing with occasional behavioural challenges
- Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Experience working with SEN pupils
