ABC Teachers are currently recruiting for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis in a Key Stage 1 environment of a primary school in the Wolverhampton area from September 2025.
Salary based on qualifications and experience.
About the role
This role will include the following:
- Supporting as classroom cover as well as covering teachers PPA time while in the school.
- Covering a full-time member of staff 5 days a week.
- Great opportunity for ECTs to work on practice as well as build a good rapport with a school in their local area.
- This cover will commence from September 2025 for 4 weeks in the first instant but with potential to extend until the end of the Autumn Term.

This school is a two-form entry school located in the Wolverhampton area. With a good ofsted rating and positive feedback from previous supply staff who have worked at the school.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of HLTA- Wolverhampton- September 2025 you will:
- Have prior working in a Key Stage 1 environment.
- Have confidence in supporting and leading a classroom.
- Be able to work well alongside permanent staff members.
- Will need an NVQ Level 4 qualification, or an educational degree.
- Be able to gain references from most recent relevant role.
- Able to obtain a valid DBS registered to the update service.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Salary based on daily rate.
