ABC Teachers is currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant to work within an excellent Special Educational Needs school in Stoke.
About the role
- You will support students on a 1:1 and small nurture group basis, working with various ages in both primary and secondary, depending on your preference.
- Assisting the class teacher in the running of the classroom and preparation of materials.
- Although this role will be full-time, the school is also open to candidates who are looking for flexible work too.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEMH Teaching Assistant you will:
- Have previous experience working with children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs.
- Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students.
- The desire to make a difference in young peoples lives
- Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- experience with SEND background
