ABC Teachers is currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant to work within an excellent Special Educational Needs school in Stoke.

About the role

You will support students on a 1:1 and small nurture group basis, working with various ages in both primary and secondary, depending on your preference.
Assisting the class teacher in the running of the classroom and preparation of materials.
Although this role will be full-time, the school is also open to candidates who are looking for flexible work too.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of SEMH Teaching Assistant you will:

Have previous experience working with children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs.
Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students.
The desire to make a difference in young peoples lives
Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

experience with SEND background
