ABC Teachers are seeking a skilled and dedicated Primary Teacher to work within an SEN school in Birmingham, part of the Think Differently Education Trust (who we are proud to be working with as a Managed Service Partner)
About the role
A primary school teacher from James Brindley Academy working within Birmingham Children’s Hospital provides education for children who are unable to attend mainstream school due to medical needs. They deliver personalised lessons aligned to the primary curriculum, often teaching one-to-one at the bedside or in a hospital classroom, with a strong focus on core skills such as literacy and numeracy to minimise gaps in learning.
The teacher works closely with home schools and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and adapt learning to each child’s health and wellbeing needs. By creating a supportive and flexible learning environment, they help pupils maintain progress and prepare for a smooth transition back to their mainstream education.
About the school
