Are you passionate about education and experienced in working with secondary school students? ABC Teachers is seeking dedicated and motivated Cover Supervisors to join our team in Telford. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
About the role
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage secondary school classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain engaged in their learning.
- Maintain classroom discipline and promote a positive learning atmosphere.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to student attendance and behaviour.
- Support students' learning and provide feedback on their progress.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Cover Supervisor with experience you will:
- Previous experience working in a secondary school environment.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage with students.
- A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
- A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one through ABC Teachers.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Previous experience working in a secondary school environment.
