ABC Teachers are looking to recruit a Cover Supervisor to work with Secondary Schools in Selly Oak and the surrounding areas on a supply basis.
About the role
The successful Cover Supervisor will be booked out in advance of any booking but, when this isn't possible you must be available to answer the phone from 7:30am so that you can be offered work for the day.
- No planning, marking or assessment - you will be provided with pre-set work.
- Managing an average class size in the absence of a teacher.
- Flexible accommodating hours.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Cover Supervisor you will:
- Have a passion for working with children
- Minimum of 5 days experience working in sole charge of a group of children, that we can reference within the last 10 years
- Able to obtain suitable references and a valid DBS check*
- *All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- 5 days in sole charge of a group of children in the last 10 years.
