ABC Teachers is seeking enthusiastic Early Career Teachers (ECTs) based in the Telford area to join our supply register for the Summer Term. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in local primary schools as an unqualified teacher or teaching assistant.
Salary based on qualifications and experience.
About the role
This role includes the following:
- The opportunity to start working as an unqualified teacher or teaching assistant for the remainder of the summer term (after completing university studies), provided registration is completed over the Easter Break.
- Flexible work in various primary schools across Telford and surrounding areas.
- A supportive way to gain valuable experience, build confidence, and form connections in primary education settings.
- Potential for long-term or permanent roles starting as early as the first autumn half-term.
About the school
You’ll work in a variety of established primary schools across Telford, all with longstanding partnerships with ABC Teachers. These schools have strong relationships with senior leadership, offering you a platform to showcase your skills and enthusiasm in supportive environments.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Unqualified Teachers- Telford you will:
- Have a genuine enthusiasm for education and helping children succeed.
- Possess some experience leading lessons, such as through placements or early teaching roles.
- No previous experience in supply needed.
- Have to be enrolled in a teaching course and will have a QTS pending graduation at the end of the year.
- Have or be able to obtain a DBS registered to the update service.
- Need to be able to gain relevant references from placement school and university.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Salary based on daily rate.
