We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Nursery Practitioner to join us here at ABC to support on a maternity cover basis at our partnered nursery, starting in October/November.
About the role
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and education to the nurseries children, working alongside their experienced team to ensure that each child receives the best possible start in life.
You will;
- Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS curriculum.
- Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment for the children.
- Build strong relationships with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child’s progress.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
- Adhere to all nursery policies and safeguarding guidelines.
- Supporting with toileting is essential in this setting

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Nursery Practitioner you will:
- Be willing to obtain a DBS on the update service and have experience we can reference.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting would be desirable
- A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
