ABC Teachers is seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work in an SEN School in Bromsgrove full-time.

About the role

  • As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the educational, social and emotional development of students.
  • Working alongside a class teacher and a team of experienced support staff to support students with severe and profound learning difficulties.
  • Work with students aged from four to nineteen, one to one, or in small groups.
  • The role is on a full time basis with the possibility to be ongoing for the right candidate.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Learning Support Assistant you will:
  • Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
  • Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Two years supporting students with Special Educational Needs.
