About the role
As an Experienced Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning process, working closely with teachers to provide tailored assistance to students. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, both in the classroom and during extracurricular activities.
- Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and valued.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and adapt teaching materials to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers to inform planning and intervention strategies.

Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or child development.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- A passion for education and a commitment to promoting the welfare and academic achievement of all students.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
- Relevant teaching assistant qualification or experience is preferred.
