ABC Teachers are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants in the Shrewsbury area to work in a Key Stage 2 classroom setting of a local primary school. To start from September 2025.
Salary based on qualifications and experience.
About the role
This position includes:
- Full-time, typically from 08:30 to 15:30 to commence in September and continue for the entire first Autumn Half Term.
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities for Key Stage 2 pupils.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to pupils to aid their academic and personal growth.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of KS2 Teaching Assistant- Shrewsbury- September you will:
- Have a positive attitude towards working with pupils and staff in a school setting.
- Have referenceable experience in a childcare or education setting.
- A childcare qualification is preferred but not essential; relevant experience will also be considered.
- Be committed to school hours.
- Be able to provide references covering the last two years.
- Hold or be willing to obtain a DBS registered on the update service.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Salary based on daily rate.
