Qualified KS1 teacher urgently required for a school in Leicester.
The role involves teaching a mixed ability Year 2 class until the end of the academic year, with emphasis on SATs and preparation for moving onto the next key stage. This is a highly sought after position so if you see yourself flourishing in this role then we want to hear from you!
Both staff and pupils have high expectations of every aspect of school life from the curriculum to our extensive range of services therefore a successful applicant must have good, working experience within a school environment.
The successful candidate must be self-confident and be able to accurately assess the needs of all students within the classroom. The teacher needs to be dynamic and deliver engaging lessons. You must be able to express understanding towards children who have additional needs. The candidate must portray the type of personality that children will look up to as a role model.
The ideal candidate –
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
· Previous experience of working with Year 2 SATs
· Build rapport with the children
· Ideally looking for someone who is available full time
· In date DBS & on the Update Service
