About the role
ABC Teachers are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in schools across Edgbaston. This is an excellent opportunity for students passionate about education and considering a career in teaching.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise classes during the absence of teachers, ensuring that students remain on task with the work set by the teacher.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a positive learning environment.
- Support students in their learning by answering questions and providing guidance where needed.
- Work across various subjects, providing a flexible and dynamic approach to education.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of University Students - Education Sector you will:
- A passion for working with children and young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with children (desirable, but not essential as full training can be provided).
- A proactive and adaptable approach to different learning environments.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- a degree level qualification, previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
