ABC Teachers are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant with experience working on a 1:1 basis to work with a child with additional needs in a primary school in Telford commencing from September.
Salary based on qualifications and experience.
About the role
This role will include:
- Providing academic and emotional support on a 1:1 basis with a pupil with SEN.
- Working on a full-time basis around typical school hours from 08:30-15:30.
- Starting from the September 2024 on a full time supply basis, initially for the first 4 weeks with the potential to continue
About the school
This will be located at a one-form entry school in the Madeley area of Telford.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant- Telford you will:
- Have worked with children or adults with special educational needs previously.
- Have a strong natural ability of building strong rapport in a working environment.
- Be able to commit to full-time work.
- Ideally have a teaching assistant qualification, however with the right experience this is not compulsory.
- Provide references from your most recent and relevant employment.
- Possess or be willing to obtain an up-to-date DBS check registered with the update service.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Salary based on daily rate.
