We seek an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Photography Teacher who can guide students in exploring the world of photography.

About the role
We seek an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Photography Teacher who can guide students in exploring the world of photography. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both traditional and digital photography techniques, a deep understanding of visual storytelling, and the ability to connect with students of varying skill levels. The ability to teach other aspects of art would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging photography lessons that cover various aspects of photography, including composition, lighting, editing, and history.
- Teach students how to use photography equipment, software, and other related tools.
- Foster a creative and supportive learning environment that encourages students to express themselves through photography.
- Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on students' work to help them improve their technical skills and artistic vision.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in photography and integrate them into the curriculum.
- Organize and supervise photography projects, exhibitions, and field trips.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Photography Teacher
- Proficiency in photography software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and other relevant tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all levels.
- Experience in curriculum development is a plus.
