ABC Teachers are looking for Nursery Assistants for both nurseries and pre-schools in and around the Wolverhampton area.
About the role
You will be able to have the opportunity to assist in lesson learning and occasionally lead activities to help the nursery teacher, which will also include a range of support options in large groups, intervention groups and on a 1:1 basis. This allows the chance to gain valuable new experiences in an early years setting, or expand the knowledge you already have.

We work with a number of nurseries in and around the Wolverhampton area, all of which rated at a minimum of "Good".
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Nursery Assistant you will:
- Experience with Nursery and EYFS students which we can obtain a reference for.
- Have a Level 3 qualification in a childcare background.
- Be able to communicate well with younger children.
- Have a DBS that is registered on the update service or be able to arrange one.
- Be able to secure a minimum of 2 professional references.
- Be a welcoming influence on the classroom and individual’s learning. You will also need to give feedback to the class teacher on this learning.
- Be able to form meaningful working relationships with both staff and students.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Holding a level 3 qualification in childcare
- A minimum of 1 month experience in an early years setting
