ABC Teachers is looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work full-time at a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Dudley.
About the role
- As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play an essential role in helping students with their educational, social, and emotional progress.
- You will collaborate closely with the class teacher and a skilled team of support staff to provide personalized assistance to students with significant and complex learning needs.
- The role involves working with students aged 4 to 19, either individually or in small groups, to help them reach their full potential.
- This is a full-time role with the possibility of becoming long-term for the right candidate.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Learning Support Assistant you will:
- Have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs, such as learning difficulties, autism and sensory needs.
- Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
- Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students
- Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- two hours supporting students with special educational needs.
