We are seeking skilled ICT Teachers from January 2025. The schools have a strong commitment to providing an inclusive and engaging learning environment. About the role

Role Overview:
As an ICT Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will inspire students to develop their digital literacy and problem-solving skills, preparing them for the digital world. The role also offers the potential to contribute to Key Stage 5 teaching for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in ICT/Computer Science in line with the national curriculum.
  • Teach and assess students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 experience desirable but not essential).
  • Monitor and support student progress, providing feedback and assessments.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Work collaboratively with the ICT department and wider school staff to ensure high standards.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, in line with the school's behaviour policy.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with ICT advancements and teaching methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a related subject.
  • Proven experience teaching ICT/Computer Science at Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students.
  • A passion for technology and teaching.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
