About the role
ABC Teachers are currently recruiting confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in a range of supportive and welcoming secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with prior experience managing classrooms at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 who are passionate about education and maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning.
As a Secondary School Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a variety of subjects
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Ensure a positive learning environment is maintained
- Support students’ engagement and understanding
- Provide feedback to teaching staff following lessons

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cover Supervisor in a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- Experience working with KS3 and KS4 pupils
- A flexible and professional attitude
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
